During the summer months, Venissimo only ships via DHL Overnight for guaranteed freshness! Please place your order by phone at 1-866-SAY-CHEESE if you require ground delivery (for non-perishables only) or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. The shipping & packaging materials charge is automatically calculated based on the total weight of the order. Each order goes out in a fun, reusable & environmentally friendly insulated picnic carrier with ice packs. A complete description of each cheese (name, pronunciation, country of origin, milk type, product notes & wine suggestions) is included! You can also request a gift card with a personal message (simply make this request in the comments field provided on the final checkout page).

Orders are shipped the day or the day after they are received based on the following schedule (you will be notified via e-mail once your order has shipped):

• orders received Monday are delivered either Tuesday or Wednesday
• orders received Tuesday are delivered either Wednesday or Thursday
• orders received Wednesday are delivered either Thursday or Friday
• orders received before noon PDT on Thursday are delivered Friday
• orders received Thursday after noon/Fri/Sat/Sun are delivered the following Tuesday

We currently ship to USA addresses only. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico incur an additional $12 charge. Sorry, we cannot deliver on Saturdays, nor to PO boxes.

Gift certificates are sent via first class mail (at no charge), which can take up to 7 days (unless an e-mail certificate or another shipping method is requested). Cheese of the Month Club shipments go out the second Thursday of every month for delivery the second Friday of every month.

Please ensure that the shipping address is correct, and that someone will be able to receive and properly store your purchase. We cannot assume responsibility for an incorrect address - delivery, return & re-delivery charges will apply. We are also not responsible for perishable items that are received but not opened. Unless otherwise requested, all shipments are left at the delivery address without a signature.

  Venissimo accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express. Gift cards with the red ribbon photo can be used toward online purchases.  Other older gift cards & certificates can be used for purchase via telephone only. Sales tax will automatically be added to any applicable purchases.

Your personal information (addresses, credit card number, etc.) are transmitted in an encrypted & secure manner for your protection and are never stored. Venissimo will NEVER share your personal information with anyone!

All cheeses are cut-to-order. While we strive to cut the exact amount requested, it's possible we may be slightly more or less. This is one of the challenges of offering hand-crafted products. Also, due to seasonality & supply limitations, we may ask if we can substitute a similar product of equal or greater value.
