Who hasn’t dreamed of visiting New England in the fall to experience the colors and countryside?
We are inviting just 10 guests on a delicious tour of our favorite cheese makers in Vermont.
Go behind the scenes as we visit the inns, farms, dairies and creameries of the green mountain state.
Includes pre-adventure meet-and-greet at Venissimo’s Academy of Cheese, gift bag and more.
Excludes air fare to/from Burlington, Vermont (BTV).
DAY 1: Welcome to Burlington, the Queen City
Meet your host Rob outside the Flynn Center for Performing Arts at 11 a.m. for a picnic lunch.
Hop on our bus to our B&B accommodations in Fairfax, home of the Maple Street covered bridge.
Visit Hudak Farm in St. Albans for an introduction to Vermont family life with Marie and Richard.
Savor a dinner of locally sourced foods and upscale cocktails at Jeff’s Restaurant in St. Albans.
DAY 2: Tour Famed Cellars of Jasper Hil
Hearty Vermont country breakfast at B&B.
Depart for Highland Lodge on the stunning 800-acre Caspian Lake.
Settle in and enjoy an early lunch from the Craftsbury General Store.
The we’re off for an exclusive private tour of the Cellars at Jasper Hill Farm.
This full day adventure includes tastings, farm walks to meet the animals, education and much more.
Relax the night away at a casual cookout on the lake, including sampling some Vermont craft beers.
DAY 3: Von Trapp and Farms for City Kids
Breakfast at the lodge.
Hop on the bus to famed Montpelier Farmers Market to meet local cheese makers.
Visit Vermont Cheese Council tasting room in Waitsfield.
Soak in the sights and sounds at the Von Trapp family farm (yes, that Von Trapp family).
Travel to Spring Brook Farm, an acclaimed non-profit farm dedicated to education.
Cristi will share their mission as you tour the farm, meet the cows and taste their delicious cheeses.
Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner at Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock.
Rub your belly and snooze on the bus on the ride back to the lodge.
DAY 4: Meet the Goats
Breakfast at the lodge.
Visit Vermont Creamery in Websterville for a complete guided tour with a team dedicated to chèvre perfection.
Mosey down the road to the Ayers Brook Goat Dairy, the source for the creamery’s fresh goat milk.
Kick back with a picnic lunch of grass-fed burgers and craft beer.
Return to Burlington around 6 p.m. for conclusion of tour and visit to Church Street Marketplace.
