Shipping details

To ensure freshness, we ship via FedEx 2-Day on the following schedule:
- Orders received Wed afternoon through Mon noon Pacific Time are shipped to arrive on Wed
- Orders received Mon afternoon through Wed noon Pacific Time are shipped to arrive on Fri
We currently ship to USA addresses only (sorry, no PO boxes nor Saturday delivery).
Only non-perishable orders can be shipped via FedEx Ground.
Please place your order by phone at 1-866-SAY-CHEESE if you have other special requests.
Cheese orders ship in a reusable insulated picnic carrier with reusable ice packs.
A description of each cheese (name, country of origin, milk type & pairing suggestions) is included.
You can also include a personal message (simply add note in the comments field on the checkout page).
You will be notified via e-mail with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Gift cards are sent via snail mail (which can take up to 10 days) or email, per your selection.
Cheese Lovers Club shipments are mailed for delivery on the second Friday of every month.
Nothing is shipped for Academy of Cheese class sign-ups (your e-mail receipt is your confirmation).
Please ensure that the shipping address is correct & that someone will be able to receive your purchase.
All shipments are left at the delivery address without a signature.
We cannot assume responsibility for an incorrect address - delivery & re-delivery charges will apply.
We are also not responsible for perishable items that are received but not stored properly nor opened.
Venissimo accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express & Venissimo gift cards.
Old gift cards (with graphic other than red ribbon) & paper certificates can be redeemed via phone only.
Sales tax will automatically be added to any applicable purchases.
Your personal information (addresses, credit card number, etc.) is transmitted in an encrypted & secure manner & is not stored. Venissimo will NEVER share your personal information with anyone.
All cheeses are cut-to-order. While we strive to cut the exact amount requested, it's possible we may be slightly off. This is one of the challenges of offering hand-crafted products. Due to seasonality & supply limitations, we may ask if we can substitute a similar product of equal or greater value.
